Elmfield School

Elmfield School for Deaf Children

Vacancies

We enjoy welcoming new staff to join our school teams on both the Primary and Secondary sites and offer an induction programme to our new starters.  We also offer new staff the opportunity to learn and improve their BSL skills.

Bristol has a thriving Deaf community and is an exciting and vibrant city to live in.

Pupils are severely/profoundly deaf, some with additional Special Educational Needs, and we provide a Bilingual Deaf Education where BSL and English are used.

A knowledge of British Sign Language is advantageous, but not essential as we can provide interpreters.
